Cellar Tracker Notes:
Aromas of biscuit, slight toast, a little sweet spice, very slight herbaceous notes; think the aromas of rain on leaves in the woods, a little bacon fat and coffee. Fruit is quite subdued; almost subsumed by these other aromas. Savoury, smoked bacon fat, that herbaceous quality, tight tannic burr, juicy acid. Has a kind of ‘closed’ quality to it and finishes long.

This required an extended period to open up though it was much more interesting after it did. A variety of spiced dark berry fruit aromas precede solidly concentrated, indeed powerful, middle weight flavors that are presently quite compact and display a bit of the natural robustness of Les Plantes that borders on rusticity. However, there is already budding complexity and if allowed time this should mature into something quite interesting. Patience will be required though

這個酒莊獨佔的一級園, 經常都會被拿來跟特級園Clos Vougeot做比較. 因為這個葡萄園的土質有更多的石灰岩質, 也因此比起Clos Vougeot更加輕盈清新, 單寧也顯得柔軟優美許多, 而平均57年的樹齡則讓這款酒增加了許多的複雜度! 2014年的Clos de la Perriere完全在顛峰狀態, 美味可口, 生意盎然!!
