Le Chiuse, 我們已經代理多年的義大利Brunello di Montalcino, 怎麼看怎麼喝都是非常物超所值的酒莊, 許多合作的餐廳對於他們家的酒也都是默默地買著, 然後默默的又賣完了… 這是一家從來不會高調的用媒體評比的分數大肆宣揚的務實酒莊 … 甚至連他們2013年的Brunello di Montalcino默默地被 Wine Enthusiast 打了個100分, 也從沒收到酒莊主人Lorenzo任何的通知…. 2015年份得到WE 98的高分, 2017年份97分, 最新上市的2018年拿到近乎滿分的99分, 而其2013 Riserva拿到滿分100還是不見酒莊主人為此大做宣傳, 其實不只WE, Decanter, Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator都給了95以上的高分(BdM和BdM Riserva)…. 如此專注葡萄園工作與酒的品質但卻低調樸實無華的酒莊現在真的已經不多見, 絕對一定要推薦給開瓶的朋友們!!:)
Le Chiuse的葡萄園曾經是 Biondi-Santi 的 Riserva 酒的來源 … 我引述香港好朋友, 葡萄酒聞人Stephen(抱青)在其網站撰寫關於Le Chiuse的文章內容:
“原來Simonetta(Le Chiuse莊主Nicolo的太太) 的外祖父是 Tancredi Biondi-Santi！
正是她外祖父一手把 Biondi-Santi 從平常百姓的日常飲料提升為不朽的藝術傑作。Tancredi Biondi-Santi與 Giacomo Conterno 兩人可以說是意大利酒藝復興運動中的Michelangelo(米開朗基羅) 與 da Vinci(達文西)。對我來說，還有一件更重要的事﹕Giulio Gambelli 在 14 歲時曾在一家酒莊跟任顧問的 Tancredi 學習過，所以沒有 Tancredi，也不會有 Soldera 和 Le Pergole Torte！
我們是在酒展的第一天踫到 Nicolo 的，那天回家後，我拼命的在網上翻查關於他們的資料，但能找到的不多。不過我發現他們位于 Montalcino 之北，這裏的 Brunello 素來是果味圓潤的，無怪乎他們的風格與位居鎮之東南，以結構為主的 Biondi-Santi 有那麼大的分別…. Le Chiuse 是我很熟悉的酒莊。讓我說，他們是 Montalcino 北區的典範酒莊，他們的第一優勢是地質複雜，所以 Biondi Santi Brunello Riserva 的葡萄曾出於此。向北較涼的氣候緩和了日漸暖化的天氣，出身農業的莊主又善用現代知識，令他們的酒在保存傳統風味的同時有一種現代氣息和穩定性。這種城鄉 結合的特性很佛羅倫斯，所以他們的優雅也是屬於佛羅倫斯的。如果用真善美來看，他們是善的典範。”

A joyful wine, the 2021 Rosso Di Montalcino is exuberant with poppy aromatics of candied cherry, flowers, and cinnamon and is bursting with notes of ripe mixed berries and fruit cocktail. Medium-bodied, with a soft texture and almost Grenache-like ease, on the palate, it reveals notes of wild raspberry and herbes de Provence. It is a lovely wine to drink over the next 6-8 years.

It’s energized and linear, delivering delicious layers of flavor including juicy red cherry, cinnamon, black tea and blood orange accompanied by taut, extremely refined tannins and vibrant acidity. Another stunner from one of Montalcino’s top estates, Le Chiuse 2013 Brunello Riserva Diecianni mesmerizes with tension, elegance, structure and energy. It opens with classic Sangiovese aromas of underbrush, violet and baking spice that come to the forefront along with new leather, tilled earth and camphor. Released after ten years of aging in the cellar, there’s so much going on here. Full-bodied and seamlessly combining elegance and structure, the smooth, delicious palate delivers layers of ripe red berry, tobacco, licorice and blood orange before closing on a hint of black tea and white pepper. Firm, ultra-refined tannins and bright acidity provide support and impeccable balance. Captivating. Be sure to open three or four hours in advance and don’t decant. Drink 2023-2043.
